Carr, Riggs & Ingram has created a new mobile Web site that provides smartphone users with access to the sections of the accounting firm’s Web site that are most often visited by mobile users.

Those sections include location information for the firm, the phone numbers of CRI partners, service offerings at the firm and CRI’s industry concentrations.

“CRI’s Web site has experienced a 373 percent growth in usage by mobile device users when comparing the first quarter of 2012 to the first quarter of 2011,” said CRI chairman and managing partner William H. Carr in a statement. “Since CRI prides itself on being at the forefront of emerging technologies and understanding our clients’ needs, we are thrilled to now provide efficient access to the most relevant sections of our website in a mobile-friendly way.”

Features on CRI’s new mobile site include a way to search for a CRI location by entering a city, state, and zip code, or allowing the site to access the user’s GPS location. The mobile site also offers driving directions and maps of CRI office locations. Users can search for CRI partners with direct dial phone number “click-to-call" functionality. The site also provides information on CRI’s service offerings, industry concentrations, and firm history. In addition, it offers the ability to access CRI’s full Web site from each mobile page.
