CaseWare IDEA and its U.S. distributor Audimation Services Inc. released their IDEA Version 9 audit analytics product with improved analysis and integration features.

Key additions to the latest IDEA product include a ribbon and quick access toolbar, a library for easy data access and increased collaboration, increased speed and new functionality. The release also features enhancements for IDEA Server and full integration with IDEA add-ons.

The new IDEA Ribbon helps users quickly find and perform tasks and tests, including predefined tests and routines available in SmartAnalyzer. Files such as equations, record definitions and exported files are now saved to the IDEA Library where they are grouped by categories for easy access.

“IDEA’s seamless integration with IDEA Server, SmartAnalyzer, and SmartExporter not only cuts the time spent bouncing between products, it offers the ultimate in audit workflow efficiency by bridging data import, analysis, and reporting,” said Alain Soublière, IDEA Product Manager.

In addiiton, IDEA users also receive simplified licensing options and the ability to expand into other CaseWare technologies such as SmartAnalyzer, SmartExporter for SAP and CaseWare Monitor.
