Practice management software maker and consulting service Commercial Logic Inc. has released APS Advance Resource Planning, the staff scheduling module for its Advance Practice Management product.

Advance Resource Planning is designed to improve profitability through resource optimization – helping firms to understand staff capacity and ensure that the right people are working on the right jobs at the right time and billing rate.

The new module enables a firm to select and allocate available team members to specific client engagements across the year. The module also helps the firm select the right staffing for the type of job being planned.

Resource Planning was designed and built as an extension of the APS project management and workflow, allowing for budgets and schedules to be rolled into the next year where they may be adjusted as required.
