Crowe Horwath LLP has announced that it plans to add the Microsoft Dynamics automotive consulting team of ExtOrg to its roster.

The consulting team of ExtOrg, which specializes in the automotive supplier industry, consists of 19 professionals, including the founder, Jacob Chacko. The team will join the firm in February and Chacko will take on the role of director at Crowe’s Performance Consulting Group.

“We’ve worked with Crowe on several projects, and we’re very excited to join Crowe’s Performance Consulting team,” Chacko said in a statement. “We’re looking forward to continuing that excellent relationship and with Crowe’s industry expertise and international presence making our software the preferred solution for Dynamics AX and the auto industry across the globe.”

Chacko established ExtOrg in 2004. He created the Microsoft Dynamics consulting practice and developed a solution called Automotive Release Accounting. The Chicago-based business offers automotive suppliers a way to manage forecasts, orders, releases and shipments in the automotive supply chain. ExtOrg’s Automotive Release software provides all essential features and services required for companies in the automotive industry running on a Microsoft Dynamics AX platform.

“Our goal is always to provide an exceptional client experience, and with ExtOrg personnel joining our team, we will be able to expand and enhance our overall Microsoft Dynamics service capabilities, in addition to offering compelling solutions for our automotive clients,” Crowe’s Performance Consulting services managing partner Joe Santucci said in a statement. “The people synergies will also help us to continue expanding as a national firm, branded globally.”

As part of the deal, Crowe is opening a new entity in India, where many of ExtOrg’s personnel currently lives.
