Kevin Riley, an audit partner with Cross, Fernandez & Riley LLP, Orlando, has been named the 2011 Association Producer of the Year by the American Resort Development Association. The award is presented to the ARDA member who generates the most association revenues during a fiscal year.

Andy O'Neill has joined the Boston office of Valuation Research Corp. as vice president and managing director.

 

MISSOURI

Barry, executive director of the New York State Society of CPAs has been named Outstanding Association Executive of the Year by the New York Society of Association Executives. ... John Scott has joined Grassi & Co., Jericho, as a principal. ... James Bartek has joined the New York office Alvarez & Marsal Taxand as managing director.

 

PENNSYLVANIA

William Brennan has joined Vertex Inc., Berwyn, as chief taxation officer.

 

SOUTH CAROLINA

Moore Beauston & Woodham LLP announced a number of new hires and promotions: Jennifer M. Sigley has joined the Charleston office as an accounting supervisor; Rebekah T. Branham has joined the Hartsville office as a senior accountant; Charles E. Johnson and Gail S. Mobley have joined the Hartsville office as staff accountants; Bonnie B. Hamilton has joined the Hartsville office as an administrative assistant; Crystal R. Rodgers and Andrew J. Dobbins have been promoted to staff accountant; and senior accountant Erin E. Natalie Protze has joined the Center for Audit Quality, Washington, DC., as a professional practice fellow. She was previously an audit senior manager in the Denver office of PwC.

 

WISCONSIN

Mary Jo Werner, a tax partner with Wipfli LLP, Milwaukee, has earned a Gold-Level 2012 President's Volunteer Service Award from the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation for her service of more than 500 hours to the IRS Taxpayer Advocacy Panel.
