FreshBooks has released an iPad app designed for service-based professional businesses with 1 to 10 employees who use this Apple device.

Mike McDerment

Following the recent launch of the iPhone app, FreshBooks for iPad is designed for small business owners who want instant access to expense management, time tracking and online payment integration with invoices. The app is free for FreshBooks users.

"People go into business to pursue their passion, not to learn accounting," said FreshBooks chief executive Mike McDerment. "The iPad app is designed to enable the busy lives of small business owners so they can work anywhere without sacrificing functionality or experience."

FreshBooks for iPad offers the ability to create and manage FreshBooks invoices, estimates, expenses and projects; attach images of expense receipts directly to invoices; instantly get the status of receivables with account information under each tab; see timesheets from a single, combined calendar view or filter for specific projects; and update accounts offline and have work automatically synced the moment users connect to the Internet.
