IRS Files Tax Lien against Robin Thicke and Paula Patton

The Internal Revenue Service has filed a tax lien for nearly $500,000 against singer Robin Thicke and his wife, actress Paula Patton, who is currently starring in “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.”

The IRS reportedly filed a tax lien against the couple for $492,583 in Los Angeles, according to the Detroit News. A representative for the couple told the newspaper last Friday that they were unaware of the tax lien and would take care of it immediately.

Patton’s movie has been a hit this holiday season and Thicke is a successful singer-songwriter who recently released his fifth studio album, "Love after War." Patton appeared on Sunday on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards minus her husband, who was reportedly out of town promoting his new album.
