Intacct Adds Mobile and Tablet Support

Intacct on Tuesday introduced Intacct Fall 2011, the latest release of its cloud-based financial management and accounting system, which includes a services resource planning system, new user interface, mobile and tablet support, and a new marketplace for partner applications.

The services resource planning module is aimed at project and service-based businesses, combining Salesforce.com for customer relationship management, Intacct for financial management and project accounting, Clarizen for project management and planning, and workflow and automation for key tasks. The services resource planning module starts at $1,500 per month.

“We have been helping project and service-based businesses operate more effectively and efficiently for more than 20 years, and we couldn’t be more excited about the introduction of Intacct Services Resource Planning,” said Jered Cady, executive vice president of Synergy Business Solutions, an Intacct partner. “Intacct’s new and comprehensive cloud-based Services Resource Planning system has the deep functionality and extensive automation that our clients have been asking for.”

Intacct Fall 2011 now includes enhanced visual guides to walk users through common activities; modern menu trays that group related tasks; and a new report center that centralizes access to reporting and analytics, including the more than 150 pre-packaged reports that come with the system.

Along with the new user experience, Intacct Fall 2011 includes new support for Apple iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads, and Google Android devices

In addition, the new online marketplace was designed to showcase the more than 80 applications that enhance the Intacct system available from Intacct partners. The Intacct Marketplace is currently available via Intacct and partner Web sites and will be embedded in Intacct’s applications in Q1 2012.

“Intacct Fall 2011 is a game changer in the world of financial management and accounting applications,” said Intacct senior vice president of marketing and business development Dan Druker. “With Intacct Services Resource Planning and our expanded Clarizen partnership, we’re bringing together the best CRM, project management and financial systems to enable project and service-based businesses to improve operations and profitability. Plus we’ve set a new bar for user adoption and productivity with our new user interface coupled with tablet and mobile capabilities.”
