Intuit has introduced Intuit ProLine Tax Research, powered by BNA, a Web-based service that integrates directly with Intuits Lacerte and ProSeries professional tax software.

Input screens and forms in both Lacerte and ProSeries will link directly to the new service to reduce toggling between Intuits tax prep software and BNAs tax research. In addition to accessing research on the latest tax laws, rules and regulations for their clients, practitioners will have the ability to capture a full-page view of the research results and attach it to a Lacerte or ProSeries tax return to document the reasons for the decisions they make and preserve a possible audit trail.
ProLine Tax Research is available now in an unlimited annual subscription and will be available on a pay-per-use basis for Lacerte and ProSeries customers later this fall. Unlimited annual subscriptions cost $849 and automatically renew after 12 months. Each pay-per-use research document will cost $19.95.
Intuit ProLine Tax Research will also be embedded in the tax year 2009 releases of Lacerte and ProSeries. Current Lacerte and ProSeries users can upgrade to Intuit ProLine Tax Research at a reduced rate.
