NACVA to Unveil Criminal Forensic Accounting Methodology

The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts plans to introduce a software-based civil and criminal forensic accounting methodology next week at its annual conference.

The methodology, known as Forensic Accounting/Investigation Methodology, or FA/IM, will be unveiled at the 2009 NACVA and IBA 2009 Annual Consultants Conference in Boston, running May 27-30. Darrell Dorrell, a principal at Financial Forensics, a forensic accounting firm based in Lake Oswego, Ore., will present the methodology at the conference.

NACVA’s Consultants Training Institute, in conjunction with Financial Forensics, will also present the methodology at a series of five-day Forensic Accounting Academy workshops around the country.

They are scheduled to take place in Chicago (June 8-13); Denver (July 27-Aug. 1); Milwaukee (Aug. 17-22), Dublin, Ohio (Oct. 12-17); Jersey City, N.J. (Nov. 9-14); and Atlanta (Dec. 7-12).
