The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts plans to introduce a software-based civil and criminal forensic accounting methodology next week at its annual conference.
The methodology, known as Forensic Accounting/Investigation Methodology, or FA/IM, will be unveiled at the 2009 NACVA and IBA 2009 Annual Consultants Conference in Boston, running May 27-30. Darrell Dorrell, a principal at Financial Forensics, a forensic accounting firm based in Lake Oswego, Ore., will present the methodology at the conference.
NACVAs Consultants Training Institute, in conjunction with Financial Forensics, will also present the methodology at a series of five-day Forensic Accounting Academy workshops around the country.
