Neece, Malec, Seifert & Vitaz Inc. has acquired Paul T. Ladas CPA of Mentor, Ohio. Deal terms were undisclosed.

Paul Ladas, who provides tax, accounting and consulting services, established his firm in 1985. “We view the addition of Mr. Ladas’ firm as a natural fit to continue the growth of our firm in Northeast Ohio,” said Shawn Neece, managing partner of Neece, Malec, Seifert & Vitaz, in a statement.

The regional firm serves clients in Cleveland, Chardon, Madison and has an existing client base in Mentor. Neece said the recent acquisition will give the firm more coverage in the area. “This acquisition allows us to enhance our service to our clients and also provides us the opportunity to grow and expand upon the excellent reputation that Mr. Ladas has created in this region.” The firm also has an office in Tampa, Fla., which Ladas will assist with its expansion efforts.

“We are very excited to join a firm that will not only allow us to enhance professional services to our existing clients, but also affords us the ability to continue to provide the high quality services our clients have come to expect,” Ladas said in a statement.
