ILLINOIS

Arla Lach has been admitted as audit partner at Grant Thornton LLP, Chicago. David Reitzel was admitted as a principal in the firm’s health care advisory services practice. Kumiko Watanabe was admitted as partner in the firm’s Japan business group. Collette Cummins was promoted to managing director in the firm’s professional standards group; Don Lippert was also promoted to managing director but in the firm’s State and Local Tax Property Law practice; Tim O’Connor moved up to managing director in the firm’s  Forensic and Valuation Services; and Tim Schram to director in the State and Local Tax practice. Across the firm, Grant Thornton admitted 30 new partners and principals and promoted 20 professionals to managing director.
