SingerLewak Names New MP

Jim Pitrat, the assurance and advisory practice leader at Top 100 Firm SingerLewak LLP, will become managing partner of the Top 100 Firm effective July 1, succeeding current MP David Krajanowski.

Pitrat will be only the third managing partner in the firm's 53-year history. He currently holds a seat on the Executive Committee, and will assume organizational and operational leadership of the firm's six offices in California.

"I am honored to follow such successful leaders as David Krajanowski and Harvey Goldstein, and to have an opportunity to lead a firm with a long history of quality client service," Pitrat said in a statement.  "SingerLewak has always been an innovator in the industry and has consistently demonstrated an ability to adapt to changing market places and regulatory environments, while remaining focused on serving and advising clients to help them achieve greater success.  I look forward to working with an excellent group of partners and professionals as we grow the firm."

Pitrat joined the firm in 1998, and holds a BSBA from the University of Arizona, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Krajanowski has served as managing partner since 2001, and will now focus on a niche market segment, the entrepreneur and family-owned businesses sector. "My objective is to grow our market presence in this segment, which has been an important pillar for the firm and our relationship approach since 1959," he said. "In the next few years, I want to further grow SingerLewak to be seen as the industry leader that these family-owned businesses call upon to support their business needs."
