RBZ Merges in Kaufman + Bernstein

Accounting and business management firm RBZ LLP has merged in Kaufman + Bernstein, building its business management practice in Los Angeles, particularly for entertainment industry clients.

The deal adds 19 new members to RBZ, including founders Roy D. Kaufman and Howard M. Bernstein, both of whom are CPAs and bring more than four decades of experience. They specialize in providing business management services to the entertainment industry, including actors, writers, directors, producers, composers, as well as company executives and high net worth individuals who come to them for advice on long-term preservation and growth of their net worth. The firm has also been known as Kaufman Bernstein Wertenbruch Thompson & Robert.

“Roy and Howard have built one of the most prestigious, reputable business management firms in Los Angeles,” said RBZ Business Management partner-in-charge Ken Coelho in a statement. “We are both thrilled and honored that they have joined RBZ.”

RBZ was one of the Regional Leaders on Accounting Today’s 2013 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $24.72 million in annual revenue in 2012.
