Research Looks at Successful CPA Firm Management

Chesapeake, Va. (June 23, 2009)

New research into CPA firm management will be described in a series of monthly webinars from the Bay Street Group and Capstone Marketing.

Rick Telberg

The webinars will cover the “seven keys to successful CPA firm management”: leadership, technology, marketing and business development, client satisfaction, a great place to work, learning organization, and strategy execution.

“Leaders enjoy above-par, even world-class, performance in the generally accepted metrics of practice management, including revenue growth, profit margins, technical excellence, client satisfaction, staff morale and tenure, and professional reputation and brand value,” said Bay Street Group principal Rick Telberg. “Leaders clearly do things differently, and they clearly get superior results.”

The first of the monthly webinars, "Leadership: New Rules for the New Normal,” is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, at 1:00 pm Eastern time. Telberg and Jean Caragher of Capstone Marketing will discuss topics such as essential qualities for accounting firm leaders in today’s economy, key skills every accounting firm employee needs to know, bridging the generation gap in today’s workplace, why teams don’t work and how to fix them, and what’s wrong with every firm’s compensation system.

To register, visit http://baystreetgroup.com/store/product_detail.php?id=7keys-LE-09. The cost is $79 for one webinar, or $449 for the entire seven-part series.
