Sikich LLP has merged with Achieve Consulting, a supply chain consulting firm based in Warrenville, Ill.

The deal marks the start of Sikich's newest service line, supply chain consulting, which it intends to make immediately available for its clients. The new supply chain consulting practice will offer clients, mainly those in the manufacturing and distribution industry, the opportunity to gain a more competitive, market-responsive supply chain through improvements in strategies, processes and enabling systems.

"Adding the Achieve team will now allow Sikich to offer expert consulting services related to supply chain management, from demand management and key performance indicators to supplier management and integration, and more," Sikich COO and partner Stan Logan said in a statement. "Their expert team provides only the highest-quality supply chain consulting services, and we are confident that this merger will help our clients realize even higher levels of success."

Achieve Consulting’s owners Dave Forberg and Gregg Hague will join Sikich as partners. Both of them specialize in services such as distribution network design, facility design, maintenance process and system design, and material handling system implementation.

Forberg holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois.

Hague earned his MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University.

Additionally, Jeff Coghlan and Scott Uher will join Sikich as managers.

Achieve Consulting’s employees have relocated to Sikich's corporate headquarters in Naperville.
