Tax Liens Filed Against Pamela Anderson

Baywatch star Pamela Anderson is facing a pair of tax liens from both the Internal Revenue Service and the state of California.

The Playboy model and former wife of Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and singer Kid Rock reportedly was hit with a $1,700,173 lien filed by the IRS on Oct. 19 in Los Angeles, and a $252,360 tax lien filed in April by the state of California, according to the Detroit News. She has also been sued by a construction company and haulage company that were involved in remodeling her Malibu home.

Anderson blames the tax debts on errors in calculating the taxes she owes and says she is in the process of paying off her debts. “Mistakes may have been made in calculating taxes owed, and we are now in the process of ensuring that any taxes owed are paid,” she said in a statement in September, according to TMZ.com.
