Universal Accounting Sees Revenue Growth

Salt Lake City (July 10, 2009)

Accountant training materials provider Universal Accounting reported growth in revenue this year.

The company said it has seen a 30 percent growth in revenue in the first six months of this year compared to the same period last year, going from $2.6 million to $3.4 million. The privately held company also claimed a 65 percent jump in net income and a 20 percent increase in new students, but declined to provide dollar figures.

The company entered the Canadian market in the past year and released a new professional tax preparer training product.
