Regional CPA and business advisory firm Wipfli has formalized its Public Company Services Practice, a unit that will serve emerging growth and midsized publicly held companies as well as those considering initial public offerings.
The firm has named Ron Hafner to head the unit. He has a 20-year background serving publicly held clients.
In addition to tax and accounting services, the new division will offer a broad range of industry-specific consulting services, including strategic alignment, process improvement, technology integration and software development, human resources, and risk management.
Wipfli ranked No. 26 on Accounting Today’s 2011 Top 100 Firms list, with revenues of $114.5 million.
