Anders CPA + Advisors releases first 'Community Impact Report'

St. Louis-based accounting firm Anders CPA + Advisors has released its first annual "Community Impact Report" this month, which details the firm's charitable donations and community activities over the last year.

Anders' figures for the year included 2,151 volunteer hours from the firm, with approximately $180,000 donated to 253 non-profits in all. This included $15,708 donated to Anders' "Charity of Choice" for 2016, Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

"Giving back to the community is part of our social responsibility and corporate culture at Anders," the firm stated in the Impact Report. "In addition to regularly supporting the activities of our non-profit clients, we encourage our partners and staff to join organizations and assume leadership positions."

By the firm's numbers, 140 organizations are represented by Anders' approximately 200 partners and professionals. Additionally, firm members sit on 81 non-profits boards.
