BAASS and SCS Form Strategic Alliance

BAASS Business Solutions Inc. has formed a strategic alliance with Southeast Computer Solutions Inc., designed primarily to aid growth in its Sage ERP X3 business.

SCS has over a dozen Sage X3 consultants and is positioned to help BAASS serve its expanding North America, Latin America and Caribbean business. BAASS will also assist SCS by extending their professional service resources and offerings including CRM, business intelligence, and human resources information systems.

“This alliance works great for both sides as it solves some of the challenges for our X3 practice demand. SCS also has top consultants in this area and we needed a practice leader, [SCS president Sonia Ferrera] has a lot of experienced consultants and this creates a stronger alliance between our firms,” said BAASS vice president of U.S. and Caribbean operations Manny Buigas. “There’s lots of potential to share business for other products as well. This is not a merger, but a partnership that gives us a chance to work with a great firm that I’ve known for a long time. When you look at possible partners out there, they also bring a lot to the table.”

Headquartered in Miami, SCS has over 600 ERP and CRM software installations across the U.S., Latin America & Caribbean and was ranked 69 on the Accounting Today 2013 VAR 100 list.

“This is a mutual win for our companies, but more importantly for our mutual clients. BAASS will assist our clients with services that will enable us to extend our offerings and effectively respond to today’s rapidly changing business requirements,” said Ferrera. “Our management teams have enjoyed a cordial professional relationship for numerous years and belong to the same professional associations. We have shared best practices and practical experience over the years. Aligning our businesses more closely will help our firms deliver a better customer experience to our small and midsized clients.”
