Berdon volunteers for 'Wounded Warrior' children

Top 100 Firm Berdon recently saw staff members attend a retreat at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey to volunteer with the Wounded Warrior project, part of their "Berdon Cares Program."

After listening to motivational speaker Dan Nevins speak of his involvement with the organization, Berdon staff helped assemble 11 bicycles for the children of Wounded Warrior servicemen. Berdon staff all had different roles in the bikes' construction, with two members working blindfolded to increase teamwork. The children and their families later received their bikes on stage, followed by a meal with the Berdon team.

“It was a truly meaningful exercise, while also being good fun, as it tied in with our mission and vision as teams came together to make a positive impact on our community,” said Rebecca Goodman-Stephens, Berdon's COO, per a statement.

“It is important to recognize that there are things larger than yourself and I think our professionals gained greater insights on what it means to be part of a cohesive team,” stated managing partner Mark Bosswick.
