Big Four, more named to Working Mother's '100 Best Companies'

Working Mother magazine has published their list of the "100 Best Companies" of 2017 this week, which looks to recognize businesses that provide new parents and mothers with "schedule flexibility, advancement programs and family support to help them stay productive and satisfied," according to the publication. A number of accounting firms, including the Big Four, were included on this year's ranking.

The list was determined by using over 400 questions concerning parental benefits, leave policies, flexibility policies, and more. According to this year's survey, the Top 100 companies offer an average of 10 weeks maternity leave, 4 weeks paternity leave, and 6 weeks adoption leave. 100% of the Top 100 companies also offer flextime benefits, with another 99% offering tele-commuting benefits during a leave of absence.

Furthermore, 72% of this year's ranked companies train managers on how to hire and advance more female professionals, with another 89% offering training on how to manage work-life balance for staff.

Deloitte, EY, and PwC were each recognized as "Top 10" companies in benefits on this year's list. The full list of included accounting and finance firms, in alphabetical order, are as follows:
