BroadPoint-Serenic Partnership Aims to Bring Nonprofits to the Cloud

Software reseller BroadPoint and software company Serenic have partnered to deliver the latter’s Navigator for reporting, budgeting, fund accounting and grant management.

The goal of the partnership is to bring Navigator to a larger segment of nonprofits, non-governmental organizations and public sector agencies.

Serenic Navigator is an accounting software specialized for the nonprofit sector built on Microsoft’s Dynamics NAV ERP platform. BroadPoint’s pool of customers consists of more than 200 membership organizations and nonprofits; with this, the partnership will make Navigator available to more than 15 million people.

BroadPoint is a Mid-Atlantic Gold Certified Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner and is also certified in the Serenic Navigator application. Both BroadPoint and Serenic are members of the Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle and the Microsoft Dynamics President’s Club, and according to company spokesmen, they share a common cloud vision and roadmap. They aim to bring more nonprofit sector organization to the cloud via their software.

“Nonprofits have truly unique accounting needs,” said Scott Stevenson, vice president of ERP solutions for BroadPoint, in a statement. “… Serenic Navigator provides unparalleled transparency into nonprofit accounting processes, resulting in greater trust and accountability for donors, members and constituents.”

“BroadPoint has a substantial, long-standing presence within the nonprofit sector,” stated Chris Stevenson, director of sales and marketing for Serenic. “We’re looking forward to our work together to grow the Serenic Navigator footprint and related value across this very deserving business community.”
