CCH Looks Back at Past Tax Season

CCH has published a new tax briefing examining recent federal tax developments and strategies for this past tax season, and how they may affect taxpayers in future tax seasons.

Tax Briefing: 2014 Post-Filing Season Update also provides guidance to bring readers up to date on recent developments involving individual and business taxation, retirement savings, foreign accounts, the Affordable Care Act and more.

The document also contains analysis of current tax reform proposals, including proposals released in March by the Obama administration in its fiscal year federal budget plan, such as expansion of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit for employers that hire veterans and a permanent extension of the research tax credit.

The tax briefing also provides details on new developments regarding nontaxable rollover contributions to individual retirement accounts.

The briefing is available by clicking here. Other CCH tax briefings are available at www.CCHGroup.com/Legislation.
