CliftonLarsonAllen Acquires PKC Consulting

CliftonLarsonAllen has acquired PKC Consulting, an accounting, consulting and tax services firm based in La Crosse, Wis.

Joining Minneapolis-based CLA will be eight professionals, including PKC owner Sheri Knope.
“We founded PKC Consulting in 2008 to provide our clients with the tools and advice they need to be successful in making wise financial decisions,” Knope said in a statement. “CLA’s depth of national resources, talent and expertise will only enhance the services we provide.”

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CliftonLarsonAllen ranked ninth on Accounting Today’s 2014 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $563.55 million in annual revenue.

CLA Western Wisconsin managing principal Steve Bien noted that PKC Consulting has gained a strong reputation providing a range of services, including accounting, financial reporting and tax planning. Knope also brings particular expertise in working with local financial institutions.

“With over 20 years of experience working with financial institutions, Sheri provides extensive knowledge in risk management, audit, fraud, consulting and governance," said Bien.
