Dixon Hughes Goodman donates over 773K lbs. of food

Top 100 Firm Dixon Hughes Goodman held their sixth annual "Count the Cans" food drive last month, seeing all levels of staff donating canned goods, funds, and service hours to hunger organizations across 13 states.

This year, the firm was able to donate 773,741 pounds of food and serve over 880 service hours during the 10-day drive. This year puts the total amount of food donated by "Count the Cans" at 4,569,555 pounds of food since its inception.

“Giving back to our community is part of who we are as a firm and as individuals,” stated Matt Snow, Dixon's CEO. “I am proud to see our people fully living and embracing our DHG values and coming together as ONE DHG to make an impact through Count the Cans.”

“Serving our Metro DC area community is part of our DNA," said Brian Carlton, market managing partner, per a statement. "We are passionate about helping those in need by giving food and pet items in addition to financial donations to local charitable organizations.”
