Eide Bailly merges in King, Tripp & Henry

Eide Bailly LLP, a Top 100 Firm based in Fargo, North Dakota, is expanding in Phoenix by adding CPA firm King, Tripp & Henry PLLC, effective Oct. 29, 2018.

The combination will add two partners and four staff members to Eide Bailly. They will work out of the firm’s existing Phoenix office.

“We are excited to bring King, Tripp & Henry into the Eide Bailly family,” said Eide Bailly CEO and managing partner Dave Stende in a statement. “This firm has a long tradition of exceptional client service in Phoenix, and their culture and dedication to being a leading firm in the region fits right in with Eide Bailly’s mission and goals.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Eide Bailly ranked 21st on Accounting Today’s 2018 list of the Top 100 Firms. Eide Bailly had $293 million in annual revenue, while KTH earned $1.7 million in revenue. Eide Bailly has 270 partners and approximately 2,000 staff members in 28 offices.

In January, Eide Bailly announced mergers with France, Basterrechea, Wagner & Bunn, a CPA firm based in Gooding, Idaho, and Decipher Forensics in American Fork, Utah. Mergers last year included Heider, Tanner & Dirks in Denver; Davis Kinard in Texas; Spring2 Technologies in Lehi, Utah; Hawkins Advisors in Orem, Utah; Roth & Co. in Des Moines, Iowa; and Langenhorst & Self-Merritt CPAs in Spokane, Washington.
