ILLINOIS

Grant Thornton LLP has introduced a new flex-time-off policy that will allow employees to take time off as needed to meet their individual needs, instead of a predetermined set of paid time off days. The firm will also be closed for two weeks during the holiday season, beginning on December 21 through New Year’s Day. … The Illinois CPA Society held its 6th Annual CPA Day of Service on September 25, drawing more than 1,200 CPAs to volunteer at more than 100 community and nonprofit organizations.
