Among the 31 small companies ranked (15-99 employees), Weiss & Co. placed 2nd during an awards ceremony on May 6, 2015. 2015 is the 10th year of the Best Places to Work in Illinois statewide survey and awards program.

MARYLAND

KatzAbosch employees will be joining others around central Maryland for the March of Dimes Central Maryland Division’s walk scheduled for May 9, 2015 at Hunt Valley Towne Center, and have been furiously attempting to raise money to surpass last year’s fundraising total of over $4,000. “Last year’s efforts ranked us as a top ten corporate contributor in central Maryland, says Timothy Redmond, a Manager with KatzAbosch, who along with Principal Kristin Hucht coordinate the firms involvement in the March for Babies, “and we pushed ourselves this year to raise even more knowing that every additional dollar raised goes a long way towards helping babies born in central Maryland.”

MISSOURI

Grant Thornton employees relocated to its new office in Kansas City. The new space was designed with a focus on better space utilization — incorporating a more open, efficient layout with additional collaboration rooms and increased multi-purpose space. All workspaces have access to natural light as well as modern conference and team rooms, which include the most current AV and video conferencing capabilities. Grant Thornton employs approximately 200 professionals in the Kansas City area. The firm operates an additional Missouri office in St. Louis, as well as two Kansas offices in Overland Park and Wichita.
