Kessler Orlean Silver Merges in Kaplan Partners

Kessler Orlean Silver & Co., has merged in The Kaplan Partners LLP of Chicago, effective June 1.

As part of the deal, Maya Gavrilovic, a senior staff accountant at Kaplan, will join KOS and facilitate the transition. Other principals from Kaplan will also assist.

The Kaplan Partners was founded over 40 years ago and provides a range of accounting and tax services to closely held businesses, investment partnerships and successful individuals. KOS, based in nearby Deerfield, Ill., specializes in providing accounting services to business owners, executives and managers, private investors and professionals.

The Kaplan Partners and KOS have worked together for several years.

“The Kaplan Partners have a history of professional excellence and long-standing client relationships that naturally complements KOS’s business,” KOS managing partner Jeff Arnol said in a statement. “We look forward to expanding services to all clients and continuing growing and developing these relationships.”

The merger will provide the combined firm’s clients with additional experience in audit, tax, accounting and business advisory services.

“A transition at this time to KOS will provide for continued and long-term commitment to our valued clients and their needs,” said Kaplan Partners founder Bennett Kaplan.
