This is the second straight year an executive from Intacct, the leading provider of best-in-class cloud ERP software, has earned the Gold distinction in the CEO World Awards—as Intacct CEO Robert Reid was named a CEO of the Year last year. … Clemente Jimenez, Taylor Ulrich, and Leslie Ward-Cline were promoted to senior managers at Vicenti, Lloyd & Stutzman LLP. Vanessa Eastland, Eric Glenn, Mary Jones and Ana Rodriguez were promoted to senior associates. … Mark Hooley, office managing partner for the San Diego office of CohnReznick LLP, has been elected to the Board of Cleantech San Diego, a non-profit industry organization that champions the cleantech economy in San Diego. Hooley was elected by Cleantech San Diego’s Committee and was recognized by the Board as a financial expert in the renewable energy and cleantech sectors who will continue advancing sustainable solutions that will benefit the economy and the environment. … RubinBrown added Rachelle King as a manager.

DELAWARE

Jonathan Moll, director at Belfint, Lyons & Shuman, was named 2015-2016 chair of the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants by the nominating committee and society members at the DSCPA Annual Meeting.

FLORIDA

CPAmerica International announced that Brian Sullivan of Mueller & Co. LLP, and Carolee Lindsey of Cummings, Keegan & Co. will be the incoming chair and chair elect for the 2016 Accounting and Auditing Conference. … Grethell Anasagasti has been promoted to principal in the tax and accounting department of nationally recognized public accounting firm MBAF. Anasagasti previously served as a director at the firm and is based in MBAF’s Miami headquarters.

GEORGIA

Heidi LaMarca has been elected managing partner of Windham Brannon. She will be responsible for steering the firm’s continued strategic growth and new service offerings. LaMarca succeeds David Kloess. … UHY Advisors appointed of Eric Johnson as manager. He will be based in the Atlanta office, serving UHY clients nationwide through the firm’s Management & Technology Consulting group as part of the Enterprise Optimization offering, specializing in operational excellence, process improvement and strategy. 

ILLINOIS

Sara Lord, a partner in McGladrey's National Professional Standards Group, was selected as the firm's new National Director of Assurance Services to be effective August 1, 2015.

MARYLAND

Allen DeLeon, founding partner of DeLeon & Stang, was appointed to the PCPS Technical Issues Committee by the AICPA.

MASSACHUSETTS

Chelsea Gaffney was promoted to audit senior at the Boston office of Baker Newman Noyes. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master of Science in accounting from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. Olivia Lavigne was also promoted to audit senior. Lavigne earned her bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University and is a former intern with the firm. She has been with BNN since 2013. Dustin Lett was hired as an administrative assistant in the operations department.

MICHIGAN

Eathan Bean and Bradley LaRose have joined the professional team of Maner Costerisan.

MINNESOTA

Nick Swedberg was promoted to manager at Boyum & Barenscheer in the firm’s Emerging Business department. The firm also promoted Erica Torkelson and Joe Williams to senior accountants I, and Becky Suckstorff to senior accountant II.

MISSOURI

Abeles and Hoffman’s senior associate Shauna Gilmore has received her designation for Certified Public Accountant. Gilmore joined the firm in 2014 and works in the firm’s audit department. Prior to joining the firm, she gained experience as a senior financial analyst with Sigma-Aldrich and with one Big Four accounting firm as an experienced assurance associate. … MarksNelson LLC has hired Cassandra Bott as a staff accountant after working as an intern in the firm’s accounting services and business advisory department. Emily Isaacson, a recent graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, has been hired full-time after completing her tax internship with MarksNelson. She will be preparing corporate, partnership, individual and trust tax returns, as well as assisting with tax planning and research as a staff accountant in the tax department. Christine Boushka has been promoted to supervisor. Boushka has been with MarksNelson in the tax department for over four years. Callom Jones has been promoted to senior staff accountant within the tax department. Jones joined MarksNelson in January. … RubinBrown recently promoted Jeff Barnes, Josh Leesmann and Brent Wartick to managers.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

William Bean was hired as a senior systems administrator in the operations department at the Manchester office of Baker Newman Noyes. Maria Mann was promoted to audit senior. Mann earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. Kory Reynolds was hired as a staff member in the tax practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Plymouth State University in 2012. Prior to joining BNN, Reynolds spent two years at a regional CPA firm and one year working for a major defense contractor. Lauren Tozlowski was promoted to audit senior. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. Tozlowski joined the firm in 2013, having previously interned with BNN in 2012. Monique Welch was promoted to audit senior. Welch earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an option in accounting, from the University of New Hampshire in 2012. She is currently working toward a master’s degree in accounting, with a concentration in auditing, from Southern New Hampshire University. She has been with the firm for one year.

NEW YORK

Dr. Stanley Chang has joined Marcum Bernstein Pinchuk LLP as chief operating officer. As an integral member of MarcumBP’s management team, Dr. Chang is responsible for firm-wide operations and additionally will lead the advisory team in China. MarcumBP currently provides services to over 50 clients in the China market and operates five offices in mainland China. … Freed Maxick CPAs, P.C. has announced a new position in the firm, professional development officer, filled by Janice Moceri. The role will focus solely on firm-wide professional development, career counseling, and mentoring and training of employees. Previously Moceri was a senior manager in the audit department of the firm.

NORTH DAKOTA

Dave Glennon has been named director of manufacturing at Eide Bailly LLP. Glennon is a partner in the firm’s Fargo office and brings more than 14 years of public accounting experience to the role. He’s provided audit and accounting services to the manufacturing and distribution industries as well as SEC registered entities, closely held commercial companies, and insurance companies, pools and trusts. He also has significant experience in engagements with large, multi-location organizations.
