Raul Hernandez, an audit and advisory partner at Hood & Strong LLP, was elected to the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board of directors, where he will serve as director of the Northern Region. CHCC represents the interests of more than 600,000 Hispanic business owners in California. … Bethany Stanley joins the Global Compliance and Reporting group at EYin Los Angeles. Stanley joins from BDO USA, LLP where she served for 10 years, bringing extensive experience with ASC 740. Timothy Skillman has been named director in the Deloitte Corporate Restructuring Group in the Los Angeles office.

FLORIDA

Annette King joins EY’s National Tax Department in the Indirect Tax/Affordable Care Act practice as an executive director based in Tampa. She has more than 20 years of experience with health benefits and retirement plans and will be working with clients to help them become ACA compliant. Previously, King worked in Benefits at Bloomin’ Brands and as a Director of both Benefits and Human Resources for Starbucks Coffee Company.

ILLINOIS

David Rogers has joined Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams to assist with the expansion of the firm’s business valuation and litigation support. Rogers joins ORBA from a global professional services firm. Most recently, Honey was with Radius/High Street Partners, managing delivery of HR, payroll, finance and accounting services. … Christopher Bolte has joined Baker Newman Noyes as a staff member in the tax practice of the firm’s Boston office. Kaitlin DeMartin was promoted to manager in the tax practice.

MISSOURI

Jennifer Rico joins Brown Smith Wallace as a manager in the Health Care Advisory Services practice. She has more than 28 years of experience in health care. As a registered nurse and certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Rico has unique expertise in health care process improvement, daily operations management and the development of customer quality improvement programs. Hiromi Ikuta joins Ernst & Young LLP as a partner in the National Tax Department for Japanese Business Services in New York. Previously a partner with Deloitte, she has provided tax services to large Japanese multinational companies. While there, Hiroma was the FATCA Japan Leader and established the US Tax Desk to provide tax consulting and compliance services in Japan. David DiFusco joins EY’s Banking and Capital Markets group as an executive director. Most recently, he was the global head of tax with MSCI for four years. He earned that position after 20 years with major professional services firms, including 10 years at Deloitte where he became a Managing Director. Jackie Taylor joins EY Tax’s HR Performance Improvement practice in New York. Her 15+ years' experience in HR and Technology include leading the evaluation and optimization of global HR processes and technologies in an effort to align with organizational goals. She comes to EY from PVH Corp where she was a Senior Director of Global HR Systems. Taylor has a wealth of experience in industry as well as consulting having worked as Managing Director of Global Operations & Strategy for Sapien LLC as well as running NJ Workforce contracts for ACS State & Local Solutions. Prior to EY, Scott worked at Procter & Gamble as the regional tax director in Geneva, Switzerland, where she was responsible for tax operations in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Procter & Gamble, Trang had 14 years of experience in international accounting firms working in the US and Asia. Trang is an executive director based in Houston.
