RubinBrown Merges in The Business Manager LLC

Top 100 firm RubinBrown LLP has merged in the Business Manager LLC, expanding the firm’s outsourced accounting services in Denver, effective immediately.

[IMGCAP(1)]The Business Manager started in 1996 as a one-person accounting and bookkeeping shop in Denver and has since added five employees. The firm specializes in outsourced accounting for small businesses. It offers bill pay, payroll general ledger accounting, accounting consulting, controller services, and executive advisory services for clients in diverse industries, including construction, not-for-profit, manufacturing and real estate.

RubinBrown, founded in 1952, has 500 team members working from offices in St. Louis, Denver, Kansas City and Nashville. It is a member of the Baker Tilly International network of accounting firms. Through its expanded outsourced accounting services, RubinBrown expects to offer clients more opportunities for improving their productivity, profitability and growth.

This expansion also provides our wealth management clients with an expanded Family Office option.”

[IMGCAP(2)]As part of the deal, The Business Manager’s founder and leader, Debbi C. Warden, will become a partner in RubinBrown’s Entrepreneurial Services Group. She has more than 25 years of accounting, business and management experience. Warden is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs, where she previously served as director of the board and currently is on the financial literacy committee. In addition, she is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and serves on the AICPA’s Private Company Practice Section Forum. Warden was named an Outstanding Woman in Business by the Denver Business Journal in 2015 and was nominated as a member of the Small Business Advisory Committee of the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

In addition to Warden, five staff accountants and associates of The Business Manager will also RubinBrown. RubinBrown’s Denver office now has 97 total employees, including 49 CPAs.
