Firm Tech Survey Launches

A newly launched survey aims to discover how accounting firms are using technology to better their practices, and is looking for firms to participate.

Created by well-known technology expert Randy Johnston, president of Network Management Group, and Leslie Garrett, CEO of Insight Research Group, the survey comprises 80 multiple-choice questions on a wide range of technologies and technology-related areas, including practice management, hardware, software, storage and data management, technology spending, and more.

“It was hard to find complete information about the technology U.S. accountants were using in their practices,” said Johnston. “Although there are many good surveys, there were many unanswered questions. The intent is to discover factual, actionable information.”

Interested accountants can take the survey here.

Participants will receive a free copy of the Accounting Firm Operations and Technology Survey eBook, which will be created from the results of the survey and delivered in January 2014.
