NSBN LLP CPAs & Advisors, Los Angeles, supported cancer charity Concern Foundation as the beneficiary of its 24th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which was held Nov. 14. The tournament raised $85,000 in research funds, which will be matched by the foundation. ... Armanino LLP, San Ramon, released the findings of its most recent CFO Evolution Survey, which predicts more efficient use of big data and changing trends in the geographic growth of companies, and a growing desire on the part of CFOs to move away from using historical data in analytics, and to increase the use of predictive analytics (see chart). The annual report is generated from more than 230 respondents, including CFOs, CEOs and other executive leaders, and can be downloaded here.

Blue & Co. LLC has opened a new office in Bowling Green, and construction industry expert Aaron Woosley has joined the firm to lead it.
