Howard Wershbale Merges, Rebrands

Howard, Wershbale & Co. has merged in Mentor, Ohio-based Deimling, Forbes & Associates Inc., and rebranded itself HW&Co.

The merger, which will be effective Jan. 1, 2014, will add seven people to HW&Co., which will employ approximately 110 people. It is expected to boost the firm’s construction and real estate practice in particular, as well as its presence in Lake and Geauga Counties.

The managing partner of Deimling Forbes, John Forbes, will serve as managing principal of HW&Co.’s Mentor office, which will be its third, after its headquarters in Beachwood, and another office in Columbus.

“This is an excellent opportunity to enhance our combined firm service offerings and talented staff resources, while maintaining [DFA’s] Mentor office location,” HW&Co. president and CEO Stephen Stanisa said in a statement. “Our combined firms will continue our culture of serving the needs of our clients, our staff, and our community.”
