Mazars holds third annual 'Days of Service'

Accounting firm Mazars recently completed its third annual Days of Service campaign. Over 550 staff members and 70 partners committed full days of service on May 31, June 7 and June 14 this year, helping over 30 local nonprofits in the New York metro area, Maryland, Philadelphia, Sacramento and Chicago.

“We are very proud of how much our Days of Service program has grown in just three years,” said Victor Wahba, chairman and CEO of Mazars, per a statement. “While our teams are located all over the U.S., during these days of service we all become connected in supporting our local communities. It’s all part of a spirit of team building and collaboration, which is so integral to the values of Mazars USA.”

Activities ranged from a scavenger hunt with local students at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, creating 1,000 gift bags for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of New Jersey's fundraising gala, and joining the Long Island Volunteer Center Head Start program for a field day and book sale event.

Days of Service is part of the “We Are Mazars” program, which looks to provide a "positive work environment promoting personal and professional growth via [Mazars'] key values: Association, Respect and Excellence," per the firm's site.
