Mazars USA to donate $100K towards hunger charities

Top 100 firm Mazars USA recently announced the launch of its Annual Giving Theme for 2018, which will be "Fighting Hunger." Mazars and its staff members will look to donate $100,000 to nonprofit organizations and help volunteer in their local communities in order to combat hunger.

Part of the firm's charitable “We Are Mazars” program, the Annual Giving Theme will further relationships with local charities that the firm has previously worked with.

“Giving back is extremely important to our firm and employees, and we hope that our donations and additional volunteer efforts will make a real difference in our communities.” stated Victor Wahba, chairman and CEO of Mazars USA. “Hunger affects one in six people in the United States and we are proud to provide additional resources to help address this critical issue.”

“On behalf of the Mercy Inn Soup Kitchen and Trinity Lutheran Church we would like to thank Mazars USA for their ongoing generous support. Mazars USA’s contribution is allowing us to make much needed repairs so we can provide a better experience for our guests in the neighboring communities,” said Charlie Ciccio, food coordinator at The Mercy Inn, per a statement.
