James Norfleet has joined McGladrey LLP as a partner in its New York City office. Norfleet will work on the firm’s financial institutions team which serves 2,500 financial institutions across the country.
Norfleet has been providing audit and assurance services to a diverse financial institution client base for nearly 23 years. He worked with public and private companies that have assets ranging from $100 million to $16 billion. He works closely with audit committees, boards of directors, management, and regulators to address financial matters, operational issues, information technology best practices, and regulatory and compliance concerns for financial institutions.

Norfleet holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany where he graduated summa cum laude. Norfleet is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and several state CPA societies.
