Mercadien Group holds community service carnival

Princeton, N.J.-based firm the Mercadien Group joined the Office of Service Learning at Rider University, as well as students in its Bonner Community Scholars program, on December 7 to host an indoor carnival for the preschool class of the Millhill Child & Family Development Center, a Trenton nonprofit that provides education and support to families in need.

The preschool class of approximately 75 visited the Bart Luedeke Center in Lawrenceville to meet with 100 Mercadien staff members for the carnival, complete with games, face painting and snowman building.

“Community service is very meaningful to our firm," stated Conrad Druker, managing director of The Mercadien Group. "These recent events serve not only as a celebration of the season with our associates, but to benefit and brighten the holidays for needful local constituencies. We are grateful for the opportunity, and to partner this year with Rider University and Millhill, to bring holiday joy to many young children.”

Prior to the carnival, Mercadien held its 17th annual holiday toy drive, donating dozens of gifts to Toys for Tots program via the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
