Merger boosts Brady Ware’s Atlanta footprint

Ohio-based Brady Ware & Co. has combined with Atlanta firm GrossDukeNelson & Co.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The combination is expected to strengthen the firm’s audit practice and its international tax expertise. GDN partner Teresa Snyder has been named leader of the expanded Atlanta-area audit practice.

GrossDukeNelson provides tax, audit and business services to clients in a range of industries, including professional services, manufacturing, real estate, technology and nonprofits.

“Combining our practices allows us to significantly increase the capabilities and resources we offer our clients, especially in the areas of audit and international tax consulting,” said Brady Ware & Co. co-CEO Brian Carr, in a statement. “We’re excited to welcome our new team members and look forward to growing together as we further expand our presence in Atlanta.”

“We’re confident that joining forces with Brady Ware will provide our current clients with a broader range of services,” GDN partner David Duke said in a statement. “We’re also excited to offer our expertise to new clients throughout Brady Ware’s markets.”

GrossDukesNelson has five partners and 11 professional staff. Brady Ware & Co. was named to Accounting Today’s Regional Leaders list for the Great Lakes Region, with over $16 million in net 2015 revenue, and over 145 employees in offices in Ohio, Indiana, and Georgia.
