New Jersey CPAs Offer Free Online Tax Advice

A group of New Jersey CPAs are making themselves available to answer tax questions from the public during tax season.

From February 1 through March 30, Lewis D. Bivona of WithumSmith+Brown, Robert A. Fodera of ParenteBeard LLC, Hannah S. Gold of Sax, Macy, Fromm & Co.;  Lee W. Hessberger of  Anne Skalka & Associates, Richard L. Lipton of Richard L. Lipton, CPA & Associates LLC, Edward Mendlowitz of WithumSmith+Brown,  Samuel Pandure of Motion Systems Corporation, Stephen Petti of Stephen Petti, CPA, Maryann Reyes of WeiserMazars LLP, and Francis C. Thomas of Richard Stockton College of N.J. are answering personal income tax filing questions.

Visitors to a site operated by the New Jersey Society of CPAs, www.moneymattersnj.com/asktheexperts, can complete a brief Q & A form to pose a question to the tax experts as well as see answers to previously asked questions.

While at the site, visitors can also subscribe to Your Money Matters, the New Jersey Society of CPAs’ free monthly e-newsletter that contains useful information and financial planning tips. Visitors to the site can also read articles there, sign up for events and listen to podcasts.

The New Jersey Society of CPAs also offers a free, online Find-A-CPA service at www.findacpa.org.
