Paramount Tax & Accounting joins major franchise group

Paramount Tax & Accounting, a tax prep and accounting service business, has joined the United Franchise Group collection of franchise opportunities.

Founded in 2008 by CPA Jon Wilhelm, Paramount aims to compete with the major tax prep chains, with all returns prepared by franchisees “verified by a CPA” for accuracy, according to the company. It was founded in 2008, and franchisees will also offer accounting services, including a free three-year tax review, financial planning and strategic business planning.

“The business has grown rapidly since its start in 2008,” said Wilhelm in a statement. “My number of clients has basically doubled in size every year. Once I saw that pattern emerge, it then became my goal to continue doubling each year. … We plan to continue that trend.”

UFG CEO Ray Titus announcing the addition of Paramount Tax & Accounting to its franchise portfolio.

“Paramount Tax & Accounting is the perfect complement to our existing portfolio of brands,” said UFG CEO Ray Titus. “Jon has managed impressive growth in what’s clearly a strongly desired business model that fills a market void for high-level business and accounting services. Even before we announced our official launch of the brand as part of UFG, we have already sold a number of units. We anticipate strong growth and continued expansion of the brand.”

UFG is a portfolio of primarily business-to-business franchise opportunities, with more than 1,400 franchisees in 80 countries. Brands include Signarama, Jon Smith Subs, Fully Promoted, Transworld Business Associates, Experimac, Accurate Franchising, SuperGreen Solutions and VentureX.

Paramount is accepting franchising applicants. Interested parties can call (801) 784-6677 or visit paramountfranchising.com.
