Servin joined the firm in 2007, and Willyerd in 2001. … Elisa Stodghill, Sacramento region manager at Gallina LLP, has earned the Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries. … Rony Rodriguez has been appointed a tax partner in the Los Angeles office of CohnReznick LLP. … Karen Flathers has been named the first chief customer officer of BlackLine, Los Angeles.

EKS&H, Denver, has promoted five partners: Michael S. Fitzgerald, Rebecca Kelley, Michael Lopez, Clayton Sparks and Kari Ritz Thiessen.
 

FLORIDA

Becca Gilbert has been promoted to director of marketing and business development, and Stephen Andrews to senior manager in the Tax Services Department, of Thomas Howell Ferguson PA CPAs, Tallahassee.

KENTUCKY

Alison Melton has joined Dean Dorton Allen Ford PLLC as an associate consultant in accounting and finance outsourcing in the Louisville office. 

MASSACHUSETTS

Margery Piercey has been named partner-in-charge of the Boston office of Marcum LLP. She will also serve as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. … Russell Phillips has been named office managing partner of the Boston office of CohnReznick LLP. He succeeds Jim Naber, who has retired.

 

MICHIGAN

Kevin Kelley, a junior staff accountant at Lewis & Knopf CPA PC, Flint, has earned his CPA license.
 

MISSOURI

MarksNelson LLC, Kansas City, announced a number of new hires: Kurt Brekke, Kris Goodwin, Alex Kaplan, Nick Tinoco, and Darby Wooldridge have joined the Assurance and Business Advisory Department as staff accountants. … Harvey Wallace, partner and co-founder of Brown Smith Wallace, has received the Missouri Society of CPAs’ 2016 Outstanding Public Service Award, in recognition of his contribution to his community through service to charitable and civic organizations, as well as his level of leadership, innovation, initiative and involvement. … Rebecca Kibler has joined Abeles and Hoffman, P.C, St. Louis, as a tax manager. … Jenny Meyer and Jon Waitukaitis will become partners at Anders CPAs + Advisors, St. Louis, in January 2017. Meyer joined the firm in 1994, and Waitukaitis in 2003.

PENNSYLVANIA

Dennis K. Dunlap has been named managing director of Dunlap & Associates PC, Chalfont. He succeeds Larry Pickering, who retired on Sept. 30. Dunlap is one of the firm’s founding shareholders, and has served on the firm’s Executive Board of Directors since its founding in 1999, as well as overseeing the firm’s IT department.

Jason Sanders has been named chairman of the Tax Department at Briggs & Veselka, Houston. He joined the firm in 2004, and succeeds Steve Awalt, who will continue his client work and service on the firm’s Executive Committee.
