Jennifer Dizon, an audit and advisory partner at Hood & Strong LLP, was elected president of the National Association of Women Business Owners in California for 2014-2015. Gumbiner Savett Inc., a Southern California certified public accounting and business advisory firm, has promoted Yunhee Chung, Helena Song and Jane Zhou to senior managers, in the audit and accounting department. CohnReznick’s partner Jeff Bobrosky was recently selected by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal to receive the 2014 Trusted Advisor Award in the practice of accounting. Bobrosky also received a second award in the category of Client Services for his consistently outstanding service.
COLORADO
The Denver Business Journal named Debbi Warden and founder of The Business Manager LLC, as a finalist in this year’s Outstanding Women in Business awards in the small business owner category. The annual awards honor metro Denver’s most influential women who excel professionally through innovation, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. Warden is highlighted in today’s special Outstanding Women in Business section of the Denver Business Journal along with this year’s other 32 finalists and winners. T.J. Bert has been named director of oil and gas at Eide Bailly LLP. Bert is a partner in the firm’s Golden, Colo., office. As director of oil and gas, he will oversee the firm’s delivery of services to businesses in the oil and gas industry.
