Surgent announces 2017 All-State CPA Awards

Continuing professional education provider Surgent announced on Thursday that the company is launching its 2017 All-State CPA Awards, a new program that looks to highlight the top CPA from each state, as nominated by their peers.

The chosen CPA will be expected to show top knowledge, innovation and reputation among their clients and peers.

“The All-State CPA Awards enable CPAs to recognize the peer in their firm or network who always seems to have the answers to the toughest tax and accounting questions, and who is willing to share that knowledge for the betterment of the greater client community,” said Evan Kramer, CEO of Surgent, per a statement. “This transfer of knowledge strengthens the reputation of the accounting profession as a whole, and aligns with Surgent’s mission to preserve the integrity of CPE as education beyond compliance.”

Nominations are to be accepted exclusively from licensed, current CPAs. All nominations will be overlooked by a committee comprised of Surgent staff and advisors to select one professional from each state.

Winners will be recognized through Surgent's website, press coverage, and advertising. Honorees will also receive a free, unlimited CPE webinar package from Surgent.
