Greatland Adds Web-based Features to Yearli

Greatland has begun offering Web-based features for its Yearli technology for reporting and filing W-2 and 1099 forms.

Yearli provides federal, state and recipient W-2 and 1099 reporting and filing for small and midsize businesses and their accountants. The Yearli W-2 and 1099 reporting software has three options: Core, Performance and Desktop.

The Web-based options, Core and Performance, are now available for businesses to use for the 2014 tax reporting season. Core is aimed at businesses with a small number of W-2 and 1099 forms to file. There is no annual subscription fee. Once an account is created, filing fees are calculated on a per form basis.

Yearli Performance provides TIN Matching for extra security and an expanded 1099 form library for a $79 annual subscription fee. TIN Matching is designed to help businesses avoid penalties and notices. Originally implemented by the IRS, TIN Matching allows a 1099 filer to check the Taxpayer Identification Number and a specific name to ensure there is a match for it in the IRS database.

In addition to Yearli’s Web-based capabilities, a desktop version is available for accountants and businesses with large volume of W-2 and 1099 forms to file. The Desktop version requires a $399 annual subscription and offers discounted rates for bulk filing. Yearli also offers a pricing calculator to allow companies to find the best option for their filing requirements.
