Withum staff member seeks $50K donation to Leukemia Society

WithumSmith+Brown (Withum) recently announced that senior marketing coordinator Matt Basilo is closing in on donating $50,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s New Jersey Chapter.

Basilo, of Saddle Brook, N.J., is currently halfway through a 10-week fundraising period competing for the Society's annual "Man of the Year" honor, wherein multiple participants across the country competes to raise the biggest donation. The campaign ends June 15.

“Since I’m being judged solely on fundraising success, each dollar counts as a vote and, most importantly, honors a local child who is a blood cancer survivor," stated Basilo. "My fundraising is a way to pay tribute to their bravery while offering other youngsters and their families’ health and hope."

A social media strategist and graduate of Rutgers University, Basilo primarily delivers marketing assistance to Withum's industry service groups.

To further his efforts, Basilo will be hosting a “Cheers to More Years” event in Morristown, NJ on Saturday, May 13, with tickets available here.
