Yodlee Offers Small Business Financial Software

Yodlee introduced a new set of small business financial management software that can run from mobile devices.

The Yodlee SmallBusiness Suite includes “FinApps,” or financial applications, for payroll, invoicing, funds transfer, and cash flow and expenses management, accessible from any device. They integrate with Yodlee’s online banking technology.

“There are over 25 million U.S. businesses with 25 or fewer employees, and their needs were not being met, until today,” said Yodlee CEO Anil Arora in a statement. “That’s why we decided to point our unique technology platform towards this important audience. We want to help these business owners find more time in their day and increase profits with simple, smart tools for managing and monitoring their business finances. And, by making these solutions available from the financial institutions these businesses already work with, we can maximize access and value quickly, putting the power of the solution in the hands of the people who need it.”

Features in the Yodlee SmallBusiness Suite include bookkeeping, cash flow management, expense management and reporting, inventory management, invoicing, credit scoring, time tracking, and an integrated trip planner. FinApp partners included in the SmallBusiness suite include PaySimple, TouMetis, and WorkingPoint.

Yodlee SmallBusiness is the first in a series of FinApp-based systems that the company plans to meet the needs of specific financial institution customer segments. Other FinApp suites will include Yodlee WealthCenter, Yodlee Retail and Yodlee Cards.

Yodlee SmallBusiness is also the first set of FinApps built using HTML5, which is increasingly being adopted on smartphones and tablets. HTML5 FinApps will enable full access to Yodlee’s online banking technology.
